I'm pleased to be able to announce that we have a new dentist joining our team here at Rose Cottage. Sandy Gemmell may already be known to some of you as a local dentist, having previously owned a practice in Woodhall Spa, and recently done some work in Lincoln.

In his own words...
"I qualified from Guys Hospital back in 1993. After undertaking a couple of surgery posts in London I worked in general practice in Chichester before returning to Woodhall Spa in 1999.
I have a keen interest in orthodontics. I work at local hospitals every week undertaking orthodontic treatments and also provide orthodontic care at our practice for both children and adults (including Invisalign)
I am a committed supporter of young dentists and have been involved in their education for the past 15 years as an Educational Supervisor of graduates within the practice.
Outside of the practice is am involved in local dental administration and I sit on the Lincoln Local Dental Committee and am a past chairman of the Lincoln branch of the British Dental Association.
I am married to Vicki and have two children, growing up fast. I enjoy my time with them, cooking and playing the odd game of golf."
Of course this means that some of our patients will soon be transferring to Sandy, and we understand that a change can be unsettling for anyone. The patients were chosen completely at random and include NHS, Denplan, and private patients, and we've done our best to keep families together.
Sandy's GDC number is 69696 and he starts with us on the 4th of July. We look forward to having him as part of our team!
